OUR OFFICE

James Robert Ward or Bob as we all call him (ask his mom) has been appraising real estate since the day he was born (ok, just 35 years).  As any of his references will tell you, Bob is always willing to tackle the hard appraisals, though all cookie cutter orders are appreciated.  Do you have a church converted to a home? An A-frame in the middle of no where?  How about a dome house, straw bale, earth shelter or cob construction?  Bob’s been there and done it.  When we can tear Bob away from the joy of real estate appraising, he likes to hang around and bother different non-profit organizations ranging from the Austin Revitalization Authority to the Texas Archeology Society, Austin Green Builders and various historical groups.

Angela Lee Ward, the brains and looks of the operation, has been looking in people’s houses since the early 80’s.  She enjoys all types of housing from the shack to the mansions.  Since her ambition was to enter advertising or architecture, she happily plugs along doing the accounting and bill collecting that she can’t seem to hire anyone else to do.

Elizabeth Jager-Thurston, or Liz entered this fun-filled business, even though we warned her not to, ending an otherwise fabulous Hollywood career. She is the perfect sidekick to Bob (because now Angie doesn’t have to do both books and appraisals).  Her future of taking over the business of Ward Appraisal Services is secure whether she wants it or not.
